Have had the lovely Dozer for just over two years and we are doing very well. His ‘nuisance barking’ isn’t a problem out here, he has acres to run in, rabbits and wallabies to chase (but he never catches any) and he gets on well with my rescue horses. He has gained an elegant waist and is a very fit and happy dog – like me, city life doesn’t suit him. Does spend a lot of time sleeping!
Now 13 and greying rapidly!! He is stone deaf but operates pretty well with hand signals. Sleeps a lot, still barks a lot, mostly at nothing but his eyesight is pretty poor – cataracts, and now is a permanent indoor dog with his own doggy door (but ohhh the shedding – I vacuum every morning!!). Thanks ARRG Lismore for my best friend.
