MONTY our beloved deaf 5-year-old Red Stumpy tail cattle dog has found his home at last.
Monty was rescued from the Casino pound deathrow in 2006 and has been in care with ARRG for 3 years and lived with several foster carers during this time. Many potential adopters loved his handsome appearance and nature but didn’t want him because he was partially deaf and he always missed out.
Recently a wonderful family well known to ARRG because they adopted a dog from us many years ago called to meet Monty and they immediately loved him. Then the big moment they adopted Monty on a trial basis (all our animals go on a trial period) to see how he settled on their property and into a new routine. Everyone at ARRG was holding their breath and praying for this to work. Wonderful news MONTY behaved in his usual lovely way and won them all over and his Adoption is now confirmed.
What a success & outcome for MONTY and ARRG who never gives up on any animal.
