Mango is a tiny white female terrier she was abandoned and taken into the Casino pound. This pound is often very overcrowded resulting with little dogs like Mango being crowded in with many other bigger dogs. These little dogs do not do well in this pound because they cannot fend for themselves and often can\’t get a share of the food. When ARRG rescued her from the pound she was very thin and terrified and was placed in Betty Smith\’s home, an ARRG carer. our carer She gave Mango very special care and when she was well enough she went to the vet for her shots and desexing. Mango responded very quickly and bonded with Betty who also loved and bonded with her. The wonderful outcome was that Betty and Mango decided they could not be parted and Mango is now Betty\’s devoted friend. Mango is very happy living with Betty and Russell, Betty\’s other ARRG dog. Sadly many \’pound animals\’ do not get the second chance that Mango did. ARRG do our utmost to rescue as many pound animals as possible.
