We adopted Jessie on 19 December 2012, when she was 6 months, and I thought I’d give you an update. She is certainly a handful and has turned our lives upside down but we love her dearly. I only realised when we got her how little I really knew about dogs. Our first two dogs were very placid and highly socialised, but Jessie has come with some ‘baggage’ which we are slowly but surely resolving. She is very loyal and playful, and has some very cute mannerisms eg lying on her back against a wall or couch with her four legs tucked up against the wall as well. More often than not she’ll be found curled up under one of the single beds. During this year we’ve had to leave her at a kennel whilst we’ve been away and it’s then I realise how much a part of my life she is, as I miss her to bits. Thank you for all the work you do.
