A while ago now, probably around 6 months, I adopted a 3 legged foxie X from Animal Rights and Rescue in Lismore. A couple of weeks after I adopted him, he killed a snake that was in my shed and also during the whole time I have had him, he has killed quite a few mice. I have blue tongue lizards and geckos here so I hope he doesnt get to those, lol. He is such an energetic dog and although he is a tripod, it doesn’t slow him down at all, I was very surprised at how agile he really is. Bennie does require a lot of attention, he has NO road sense whatso ever and that is more than likely the reason he is a tripod. For me, he is such a hand full but with my other Animal Rescue pal, “Ralphie” the blind Maltese X they play together and wrestle and so they both get plenty of exercise without me having to lift a finger, I just sit back and watch and laugh. Bennie has found his home here with us and we would not trade him in for all the tea in China, he does so many funny things that gives us many laughs and is very affectionate.
