Solo is not a super sociable rooster, but has a caring nature with his own kind. He is friendly in the sense, he won’t attack people or children.
Has been around dogs and cats as well as rabbits.
He does have one busted eye from another rooster attacking him. He gets around fine with the one eye. Just gives him character.
He’d suit a home with a few hens that he can protect and look after.

Before visiting the shelter to meet an animal, please contact us to arrange an appointment. Some of our animals are in foster homes rather than at the shelter, so scheduling is essential.
When applying for adoption, we require proof of home ownership. If you rent, please provide a letter of agreement from your landlord/owner. For dog adoptions, we also need photos of your fenced yard.
