Happy Tails

Stories of happy endings for Animals, who go to their forever home.

Cleo - submitted by Norina

Hi.. I stopped by about 10yrs ago to look for a new addition to our cat family.. I had my eye on a little manx, but when I saw a tiny ... and I mean tiny... tortie clinging to a lady's shoulder, I knew i had found my furbaby. When I asked about adopting her I was told that she was too vicious and not up for adoption at that time. Well ... that wasn't what I wanted to hear and argued (nicely) for what seemed all morning. Finally the lady said I could take her home BUT if it didn't go well that I HAD to return her and NOT to dump her somewhere. It has been an absolute privilege and a blessing to have been catmumma to this gorgeous, scary little girl. It took us all a while to work out her 'tortitude' and I would never part with her. So thankful to ARRG for trusting and allowing me to adopt little Cleo (she was Blaze when I got her).
