PEPPIE a 10 year old and blind terrier was dumped at our centre at night. He wandered off no doubt terrified and went into the waste treatment plant next door, thankfully next day one of our volunteers when walking our dogs saw him very near the pits and notified the office, Suzanne our full time person quickly went into the treatment plant only to see him fall in one of the pits and he was drowning, thanks to Suzanne who jumped in to save him, or he would have drowned. He was rushed to the vet as he had ingested the stuff but thankfully he survived. After weeks in foster care he was adopted in to a wonderful home.
ARRG RESCUES
Monty a collie x puppy was dumped at 3 months of age by heartless people and was taken to the pound who called ARRG for help.
He was severely neglected and had one of the worse skin conditions we have seen and this little puppy was in severe pain with red and hot swollen limbs. More info »
