Reporting Lost & Found Animals
If you have lost a dog/cat/pet contact or local council, Veterinary Surgeons in your area and check out and Facebook pages for lost and found or classifieds in your area. You can also advertise in your local paper and contact all the local animal groups.
If you have found a dog/cat/pet contact your local council or you can take it to your Veterinary for them to scan the animal to see if it's microchipped. If the animal is chipped the owners will be contacted, if not the animal goes to the local pound to be held for 7 days (If chipped held for 14 days).
Not all pounds take in cats so check with your local Veterinary Surgeons.
- Check lost and found Facebook for your area as the owner could have put up information about their lost animal.
- List the animal on Facebook Pages for lost and found and classifieds for your area.
- Advertise in local paper
- Contact local rescue groups in your area

Monty dumped in severe pain aged 3 mths
Monty a collie x puppy was dumped at 3 months of age by heartless people and was taken to the pound who called ARRG for help.
He was severely neglected and had one of the worse skin conditions we have seen and this little puppy was in severe pain with red and hot swollen limbs. More info »
