SCARLETT, 5 year old female WOLFHOUND-x - Brindle
SCARLETT came into care after the floods , along with Abby #2845 & Mango #2843, as her owners lost their rental property & did not have a secure place to live. Scarlett was born during the flood in 2017. Her mum died when she was born & she was given away & had been picked on by other dogs & was not well when her owners adopted her so she can be insecure & reactive at times.
She is a very sweet and loving girl once you gain her trust and is very affectionate and loves cuddles.
She lacks confidence. She will benefit from a home with a secure yard/rural property with active owners, who can exercise her daily & provide her with the affection & attention that the craves.
Attention seeking (with people she knows & trusts);
- Walks well on the lead but is strong;
- Travels well in the car;
- Affectionate, very loving;
- Enjoys exercise;
- Has basic training;
- Can be unpredictable if she does not know someone;
- Can be reactive with other dogs.
- Not tested with cats, chooks or small animals;
- Has not been around small children;
- Needs a very secure yard;
- Needs daily exercise so must be a willing and fit household;
- Can be unpredictable with any human/dog she doesn't know.
