BEE, 11 week old female Staffy Mix
Bee and her sister, Bumble came into care at around 4 weeks old after being surrendered to the Richmond Valley Pound.
The two girls have had a rough start to life, being born into an unplanned litter, only to be ripped away from their mum and at an age where they still needed her. They have been receiving round the clock care from their foster carer to ensure they still get all the right nutrients.
Bee and Bumble will both need a special home as they have recently had their vet check, where it was discovered both pups may possibly have congenital hip dysplasia.
We know both girls are happy and get around with ease, but we think it's important they both find homes suited to their possible conditions.
The ideal home would be one that can limit their exercise, be willing to monitor their hips, be prepared for regular vet checkups, able to accommodate their needs if their hips change in the future and love them just like any other dog.
they will require further testing upon desexing.
- Adorable as all heck
- short, easy to maintain coat
- Great with kids/people
- Great with dogs
- Good with cats (both pups regularly try to play with their carers cat)
- Good with poultry (they are overly playful with chickens. Something to be mindful as they get bigger)
- Travel well in the car
- Comfortable on their own
- Easily trainable
- Cute as a button
- Bee will need someone who is understanding and willing to take on possible issues that may arise with her hip.
- Being a puppy, she still needs her continual training with toileting and basic commands, etc.
-Puppies teeth, so lots of toys for chewing is a MUST
WEIGHT at 8 weeks: 4-5 kg
