MAGE, 5 month old male DSH Black

MAGE is a sweet young boy who was found half drowned in a back yard in Magellan Street. Taken to Lismore Vet Clinic, he was terrified and soaking wet from the flooding rains in Lismore. A vet nurse kindly took him home to monitor him, and then the Clinic contacted ARRG, and despite being at capacity, one of our foster carers was able to find space for two new kittens.

These kittens are some of the most boisterous to ever take over their foster home! Every one of them is loveable!

There are three black boys and two white girls in their foster home who all play together and are extremely friendly. They love their human>
POSSIBLE HEALTH ISSUE: Due to a *possible* health issue with the current kittens, we are recommending that these kittens are not adopted into a household with another cat.
There is no threat to other animals, only *possibly* felines.

Due to limited admin volunteers, more details will be supplied to anyone who is SERIOUSLY applying to adopt and has submitted their attachments with their INITIAL email enquiry.

If you were planning on getting a second cat in the future, then you should reconsider and adopt TWO now.

If anyone applies to adopt a SINGLE kitten, you must show us that you have the time to spend with a young, active and playful kitten during its early months.

If you are considering giving a kitten as a gift, please let that be known when applying, and provide us with assurance that you understand ... YOU ARE NOT ADOPTING A PLAYFUL KITTEN ... YOU ARE ADOPTING A COMPANION WHO WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE NEXT 15-20 YEARS!

To expedite the adoption process, click on 'I want to ADOPT NAME' OR email ARRG ( - Subject: ARRG ID #### NAME) proof of home ownership (copy of Rates Notice), or if you rent, a letter of agreement from your landlord (on letterhead of rental agency)/owner (letter needs to be specific about what pets are allowed, and also needs a copy of Rates Notice to show they are they owner of the rental property). Note that copies of Rates Notices can be redacted for privacy.

You can also take this opportunity to tell us why you would make the best guardian for this cat.

Recommended that you include following in email:
* Why you/your family would make best guardian;
* Number of children/Ages?
* Pets?
* History with cats? ie, how many? ages when they died?
* Do you have time to spend with a kitten?
* What will you do with your furbabies if you ever have to move into a rental that does not allow cats/dogs?
* Phone number ...

Please FOLLOW and SHARE the ARRG Instagram & Facebook pages, where you can view the latest photos/videos of the animals in care, and new arrivals.
