HORATIO, 16 year old male DSH Black & White

HORATIO's is a sad story ...

Horatio was found as a stray, in very bad condition, and brought to ARRG. We were so happy when we realised he had a microchip, and we'd be able to reunite him with his humans. Our glee was short-lived. Council contacted his owner, who advised that Horatio had gone missing 10 years ago! And no, he did not want his 16 year old cat back!!!

It was obvious that Horatio was in a bad way, so we took him to the vet who did blood tests, and he's come back as being hyperthyroid.

GOOD NEWS! We have found a wonderful foster carer who is providing Horatio with personal attention for his medical needs. She has advised that he is a very loving boy who loves her elderly mother's lap, and would be absolutely ideal as an ONLY CHILD. In case anyone is interested in adopting this elderly man, and allow him to live out his final years in peace and comfort.

If you want to ADOPT Horatio, understanding that there will be ongoing medical issues and his years are numbered, click on 'I want to ADOPT "NAME"' OR email ARRG (nonkill@animalrights.org.au - Subject: ARRG ID #### "name") proof of home ownership, or if you rent, a letter of agreement from your landlord/owner.
