QUAYSIDE, 1 year 5 month old female DMH Tortoiseshell

ON ADOPTION TRIAL ... QUAYSIDE can now be adopted through Petbarn Lismore's ADOPT ME programme. She moved into their cat condo on 25/3/19. She is joined by NUBS, another tripod tabby & white boy, who is missing a front leg. Nubs will be entering the cat condos on 27/3/19. If you are interested in adopting either or both of these tripods, it is worth noting that there is little difference being the guardian of a tripod than a four-legged cat. Both of these cats are very affectionate. While Quayside has been recuperating, she has had contact with other cats & kittens in her foster home, and has shown no sign of being aggressive. So she would suit a home with an existing non-aggressive cat. QUAYSIDE is the sweetest and most affectionate of cats. Even shortly after she was hit by a car she allowed herself to be taken to the vet by total strangers, in the form of our own volunteers. Thanks to all the staff at Quayside's Used Car Dealership at the end of Keen Street for alerting ARRG to her situation, so we could get her treatment ASAP. Thanks to her receiving immediate veterinary treatment, Quayside did not have to suffer for long. Unfortunately, because she was not microchipped, and the cost of saving her leg ($,000's) would have been too much for ARRG's limited funds. However, to ease her pain, and rather than have her euthanised due to the extent of the damage, we chose to have her leg amputated which has still cost ARRG close to $1,000. Obviously our $180 adoption fee won't even come close to covering her medical costs, so donations or even sponsorship are appreciated. https://www.animalrights.org.au/donations_quick.php Her stitches are scheduled to be removed Monday 18/3/19, at which point she will be available for adoption. You can view a video of Quayside on the ARRG FaceBook page.
