ARCHIE, 5 month male Beagle x Border Collie

Archie was surrendered by a lovely family, who paid a substantial amount for him. Unfortunately, his mix of breeds were a bit overwhelming for full time workers and a child in school.
Thats why Archie is looking for a home with someone, who can give him plentiful exercise before and after work or better yet be home a little more regularly.
Please research Beagles and Border Collies before considering adopting Archie into your life. They are both intelligent breeds and require stringent training.

- Lovely nature
- Good with dogs
- Good with cats
- Alright with chickens and rabbits, but he can be quite boisterous
- Good with kids, but be mindful of toddlers and young kids as he is full of energy and jumpy
- Short, easy to maintain coat
- Can sit and shake
- Toilet trained

- Likes to jump up on people. His foster carer is working on teaching him not to and this training should be ongoing with any new owner
- Not good on a lead, but his foster carer is going to be working on halti training
- Has been car sick on a couple of occasions. Not a regular occurrence. Just be mindful.

Archie is looking for an active individual or family, who can give him lots of exercise. Ideally, hed suit a rural property with another active dog.
He will benefit greatly from ongoing training with someone experienced. Beagles have a strong sense of smell, so lovely smelling foods are great for training.
