Cats for Adoption

All our cats are kitty litter trained and need a home where they are locked in at night and locked in completely for the first week to ensure they have time to bond with their new family and home.

Read more about cat adoptions and costs.

When you see an animal removed from our website, it's good news — they have found a home.

Social distancing is still required, as per Covid19 requirements. Appointments must be made to view our animals.

SAMSON, 4 month old male DMH Tabby— ADOPTED - ON TRIAL ...

SAMSON wandered into a yard and was attacked by the resident cat. Fortunately the householder heard the ruckus and rescued this pretty little chap. No microchip, no calls to vets or council looking for his return, no response to the many signs put up where he was found.

SAMSON is the smoochiest, most affectionate cuddle bunny, and it is mind-blowing that someone hasn't moved heaven and earth to find him.Ref: ARRG ID 002452

JINGLE, 9 month old male DSH Ginger (dusky or smoky)—
JINGLE was given this name as he came into care less than a week before Christmas.

Since coming into care, he has changed from being very confident around other people, to hiding when people come to his foster home for adoptions. He is still VERY friendly and ultra-affectionate with his foster carer, and given time and patience, those traits can be transferred to his Furever Guardian.

HALLE, 1 year 5 month old female DSH Black—
HALLE was a street kitten, along with her two brothers, in Casino. When a kind-hearted person saw she was pregnant at only 5 or 6 months of age, they set about trapping the three cats. When finally trapped the two brothers went to the Casino Shelter, and Halle was surrendered to ARRG heavily pregnant.

This all happened in Halloween week, hence her name.

She had six kittens the next morning, but only two survived the first week, having been born prematurely. Her remaining two kittens are Trick (2323) & Treat (2324).
