Pumpkin, 2 years female Tabby

**BAD TENANTS CAUSING BAD SITUATIONS FOR PETS*** It's no secret - real estates and homeowners are not fans of pets in the home. Often tenants ruin it for the good pet owners though. All too often rescue organisations, vets, real estates and pounds are seeing abandoned animals on the Northern Rivers due to rental situations. You have probably seen a few cases recently in the newspapers about tenants trashing homes. These kinds of tenants sometimes abandon their pets. Pumpkin is ARRG's latest example of abandonment and neglect. A caring member of the public was asked to check on Pumpkin, but when she arrived at the home it was trashed and abandoned. The flea ridden and neglected cat had been left with no food or water and a litter tray full of weeks old faeces. Thankfully this lady acted quickly to get Pumpkin into ARRG's care and remove her from such an awful situation. A homeowner only needs to take one look at this home and say no more pets. Tenants like this make it increasingly difficult for genuine, tidy and responsible pet owners. It's pretty simple, don't be like this tenant and don't get a pet if you going to neglect them. Pumpkin is a very friendly girl with a solid build. So far she is not fond of other cats though. If you are interested in Pumpkin, please contact the centre via phone: 02 6622 1881 between 9am - 3pm Monday to Friday or email: nonkill@animalrights.org.au *Photos of the trashed house in the comments section
