Sally the 6-year-old poodle
Date Uploaded: 15 Jul 2010
Sally the 6-year-old poodle ID758 was surrendered to ARRG no longer by her owner and suffering from a large growth in her mouth that had not been treated. Before she could be adopted ARRG had to have the growth removed.
The vet who treated her said it was one of the largest growths in the mouth he had treated and without the operation sally would have not been able to eat and would have become very sick. Thankfully the difficult operation went well and she recovered very fast with her carer’s love and care and was recently adopted by a wonderful family who happily accepted her medical history.
Sally’s operation cost $600.00 plus her other basic vet work. ARRG’s adoption fee of $180.00 for our dogs/puppies includes vaccination, worming, heartworm test, microchipping and desexing and this fee does not change whether they receive extra vet work for injuries or sickness, or whether they are pure bred animals.
Please support our ongoing rescue work by making a donation to help us cover the extra vet costs for animals like Sally and the many sick and injured animals that ARRG accepts into our care.
Animals needing extra work and help are highlighted on our website as needing a ‘Sponsor’ or as ‘Old’ and your donations go directly to help us pay for their vet treatment and their ongoing care.
ARRG operates solely on public donations and a very small budget and your donations for special cases truly helps us to cope.
Thank you so much for caring about the animals.
