Shining World Compassion Award

Date Uploaded: 27 Apr 2010

Barbara Steffenson founder of Animal Rights & Rescue Far North Coast received a very special award lat last year from the Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association.

The association presented her with a Shining World Compassion Award and a cheque for 10,000 US dollars for her work as a 'voice for animals' in our region.

A documentary called ‘FOSTERING LIFE IN AUSTRALIA’ was filmed at the centre and can be viewed at www.suprememastertv.com.

It was a great honour and privilege said Barbara at the time. Our small band of volunteers work so hard and it can be a heartbreaking job, so the award was a great boost to morale for everyone involved at ARRG.
