WA Gov Brumby slaughter
West Australian government to round up thousands of the wild horses from the remote Kimberleys region of Lake Gregory, cram them into trucks and transport them over 3000 kilometers to be slaughtered, and the meat sent overseas for human consumption. More info »

Please come to ARRG & meet many of our wonderful homeless kittens, puppies, dogs and cats.
The Worldwide event held to Save lives
When: May 1 & 2nd 9am – 3pm
Where: ARRG 135 Three Chain Rd Lismore (past Youngberries Nursery)
Why:To find homes for as many of our homeless animals as possible in 36 hours hours.
Since 2001 ARRG has joined North Shore Animal League USA (founders 1995 of this event) & 2000 other rescue groups in over 30 countries.
Held annually 1st weekend in May, the aim to stay open for 36 hours & rehome as many homeless animals as possible. The No of animals rehomed by groups around the world is totalled by NSAL Washington USA & published in the news. For info about the event call ARRG Ph: 6622188
