Animal Rights and Rescue Group Inc. (ARRG) is a staunch advocate for the rights and care of all animals.
ARRG passionately gives our support to all campaigns that work to protect any animal from abuse and suffering, no matter the location, whether for entertainment, sport, farming, research, breeding at puppy mills or backyard breeders, pet shops, or as companion animals.
ARRG also provides a low/free desexing program (as much as our funds allow) for companion animals for people that genuinely need our assistance to do the right thing, the demand and need for this programme is huge. If we could raise sufficient funds ARRG would be able to build their own, already approved vet clinic at our centre in Lismore.
Currently many animal welfare advocate groups are calling for a Reform of the Laws that are supposed to protect all animals from abuse and cruelty, namely the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act (POCTA) and currently policed by the RSPCA, lesser by the AWL NSW and also by the police.
ARRG supports all and any changes that improve on the current law enforcement situation in both NSW and Australia that presently fails dismally to protect the animals.
For more information about any of these issues or how you can help contact our office on 02 66221881 or 0432890687 9am – 4pm.
